  1. Boil elbow macaroni until tender. Drain and rinse. Place in a casserole dish.
  2. Heat milk with butter. Add strong cheddar and stir until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Pour cheese sauce over macaroni. Top with buttered breadcrumbs.
  4. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
